For most, a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing would be enough to sustain a successful career in advertising. However, Penny thought otherwise and obtained a second degree in Art Direction and Design from Atlanta’s Portfolio Center, one of the top design schools in the nation.
With over 20 years of experience in marketing, management and retail merchandising, Penny has a unique ability to think through all aspects of the creative process, switching back and forth between strategy, messaging and execution. She can be copywriting one minute, designing websites the next, then finishing out her day strategizing about a client’s annual media plan. It’s definitely not for the timid.
After the hectic workday dust settles, Penny heads home to Decatur to enjoy the relative peace and quiet of family life with her husband Charles and their precious daughter Ruth.
